ETSU vs. Belmont

49-30 Belmont at the half. Belmont 12 3's in 1st half. ETSU getting smoked, they look very bad.

Any team can look very bad when Belmont shoots like that against them. Belmont can't stay that hot for the entire 2nd half, and ETSU has to make sure they don't by stepping up the defense and avoiding big runs.

Final 94-67 Belmont. Would have been nice to see ETSU in NCAA's. Hopefully they will play better in NIT and get a win or two.

Look on the bright side--Courtney Pigram was POY in the A-Sun this year and he's only a Sophomore. Two more years for him to grow and get even better as a player. I think Bartow's a really good recruiter too--I fully expect them to make an appearance in the tourney come next year or at least 2 years from now.

Mike Smith I think will have a very good future ahead of him as well. They just ran into a lights out buzzsaw today I am afraid.

Yeah--if they continue putting pretty good ballplayers on the floor with Smith & Pigram for the next two years, not only would an appearance not be out of the question, but a win or two in the NCAA's.

Bartow has one problem, he wont accept walk ons no matter how good they are. I watched a guy that was trying to walk on dominate courtney everyday in the CPA. Everyone on the team and off the team thought he would make it, but bartow told him he just didnt have all the tools.
